Forwarder News collects as little as it can. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to news@forwardernews.com.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which stories readers find useful: pages viewed, referring site, device type and approximate location. It sets cookies in your browser. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first, and Analytics stays off unless you accept. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. We don't use advertising cookies.

Newsletter

If you sign up for The Freight Brief, we keep your email address with our email provider, Resend, and use it only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Email us and we'll delete your address.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the service.

Links and banners

Links to other sites, including the banners, carry tags that tell the other site the visit came from Forwarder News. They don't include anything about you. Once you leave, the other site's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing news@forwardernews.com. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
